A Mother-Daughter Dream
Miss Bhawooq began with words.
Late nights. Notebooks filled in silence. Stories written not for an audience, but for the quiet need to put something true on paper. For a long time, it was just that, words, and the hope that they might someday mean something to someone else.
Slowly, those words found form. Letters. Journals. Little keepsakes made to be kept.
Today, Miss Bhawooq has grown into an Indian mother-daughter creative house founded by Heena Pariath & Pooja Pariath. It is built across distinct creative worlds: original writing and storytelling, the Miss Bhawooq Postal Society, sustainable handmade products, and Miss Bhawooq Games, its independent games vertical.
I, Pooja, lead the writing, storytelling, and original concepts that give Miss Bhawooq its voice and imagination. My mother, Heena, brings craftsmanship, sustainability, and the discipline of making to the brand. What I often begin in words or ideas, she helps turn into something that can be held, used, and kept.
We are, in many ways, very different people. I bring the enthusiasm, the daydreaming, and the occasional spiral into too many ideas at once.
My mother brings the drive, the discipline, and the quiet determination to actually get things done. Between my bubbliness and her unstoppable energy, somehow, something beautiful gets made.
But there is one thing we have always agreed on. That the world deserves better, and that even small things can be part of that. Everything we make is created by hand, with intention, and with love. Whatever we bring into Miss Bhawooq, the commitment stays the same.
One sustainable choice at a time, we are building something that does not just feel good to own, but feels right.
Together, we are building a slower, softer corner of the world. One that believes in handwritten letters, in objects made with intention, and in the quiet truth that the smallest things often stay with us the longest.
